 ------------------------------MY OPINION------------------

Great workout for beginners. Also if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money, but you do want a little variety, with this having 4 different workouts, you get alot for your purchase.

The 500 Calorie Workout
*60 min workout
*Great beginner modifications

------------------------------MY OPINION-------------------------------

This is a really good workout because it's combines weight training with cardio, and since it is a hour, you get a complete full body workout. The warm up and cardio sections are a little fast paced, so if you have trouble with coordination you might want to work up to this one.

Calorie Explosion
*4 Express workouts on 1 DVD
    1. Kick Butt Athletics Drills 12 min
    2. Explosive Power Moves 12 min
    3. Cardio Kickboxing 12 min
    4. High Intensity Moves 12 min
*Warm-up 3 min and Cool-down/stretch 4 min
*Total workout approx. 55 min

------------------------------MY OPINION-------------------------------

This one is a little advanced. Not so much with the movement, but with the intensity. I have yet to be able to complete this one all the way through without stopping. You can customize your workout on the menu screen and pick which workouts you want to do if your on limited time.

Power Half Hour
*30 Power Workout
*Beginner Modifications

------------------------------MY OPINION-------------------------------

This is a great 30 min workout. It will really have you sweating in the short time frame. Just like the 500 calorie workout it is very fast paced because the instructor tries to combine alot of movement in the time allowed. It can get confusing because there is not alot of lead in time for each movement(constently switching). If you don't have the patience, or simply don't want to stand around while trying to figure out the routine, I would by pass this one.

Get Chisel'd
*40 min Complete Workout
*Beginner Modifications(anyone can do it)
*BONUS 15 min Kick It Into Gear Workout (burns 175 cal in 15 min)

------------------------------MY OPINION-------------------------------

This one is my FAV!!! Really great interval training, meaning you will have your sets of combined sculpting movement then the instructor will have you go into what she calls Power. The "Power" sets consist of power sumo squats, cross country jog with lunges, and alot more calisthenic type movement. The instructor Rebekah keeps you engaged the entire time and is really pleasant to listen to!

Summary on The Firm Collection:

Over all, I love The Firm DVDs. On the front of the DVD it will say "Visible results in 10 workouts guaranteed". That is so true! If you stay dedicated, and stick to your diet (which is the key! Diet! Diet! Diet), you will definitely see results. The Firm brand helps you burn fat because all the movements are compound movements, which causes your core to automatically engage. Also you have to be careful because The Firm series is very lunge and squat heavy, so if you have week or bad knees I would work up to these particular workouts. You will need a set of 3, 5, or 8 lb weights depending on what level you are on, plus a mat if you will be working out on a hard surface. You find all of this DVDs at Amazon.com for great prices and fast shipping------Please check with your doctor before starting a workout regimen.

I have been using these exact DVDs since Sept 2010, and they have worked for me! I still have a ways to go, but The Firm will always be in my workout regimen. I hope this review helps you to pick the correct workout for you. Good Luck, and happy exercising!!
